Pioneering an Industry
We understood early on that a large number of the products available were created for – and by – European and Japanese markets. The quality was there, but the products themselves did not serve the needs of American customers.

We set out to tailor existing product concepts for the North American market. By 1981 we had not only pioneered a new product, but a new North American industry. From there we continued to innovate, and we remain the only American window treatment company to have designed a motorized drapery track system that’s made in the U.S.A.

Revolutionary Products
During this industry revolution the D-8 Headrail became our flagship product. It offered new advantages such as, “lift and tilt” capabilities for blinds, the clean concealment of remote control receiver in footprint of the headrail, and the ability to plug directly into an existing outlet.

One of our latest priorities has been to integrate our products into one-touch home automation systems, and to make sure they’ll work with your existing remote controls. The success of this development has taken the convenience of our products to a new level for countless customers.
